Hello,
I was told that I need pinblock replacement. It was recommended that I use Ford Piano in Peeksklll NY. Is anyone familiar with their work or reputation?

There was Ford Pinto, and before that, there was forte piano.

I was told the piano needs a pinblock, resringing. It s a 1920's Bechstein B 6'10"

By the way, I can't imagine that a 1920's Bechie would not be worth rebuilding. I love Bechsteins. Let us know how it works out!

Be sure that there are no cracks in the plate, which seems to happen more often in older Bechsteins than in other pianos of the same age. Infrequent, but a major concern if present.
