I have no clue for value of any pianos. Want to buy one used piano for my daughter. As the title shows, this piano is a 1989 Baldwin acrosonic console and the model #:2055. It is from a private seller and was told in good condition. What should be a good price for it? I will highly appreciate your help.

I really don't have any idea what a #:2055 even is or what its vertical measurment is, or cabinetry or, or, or ...

The Acrosonics, by Baldwin, have stood the test of time. They are very well built pianos. For a 20 year old console, from a private seller, $750-$1,000 would be the usual asking price. Often (usually) you can negotiate lower.

Remember, it is an "as is" sale, so it would be wise to have the piano checked out by a qualified technician, before you open your checkbook.

See if you can buy it for $1000. It's a console. It is either 40" tall or 42 1/2", can't remember. The finish is cherry satin. The 5 at the end of the model # denotes that. Good luck.

The 2000 series Baldwin Acrosonics of that era were their top of the ling consoles. At 43.5" tall they had good tone and were built solidly. One of the best American consoles of that day. Retail in my market would be $1900-$2400.
