Well now, that's kind of a "hairy" topic. Just look at that poor doggie with no eyes.

Diane, you did you plaster that dog with snow balls? Freeze his poor footsies in ice cubes? What else is frozen on "IT?" It's probably just a statue.

Am I being too "gruff?" I think I have a fur ball now.

Jerry, you can tell it's a real dog. See the toe-nail marks in front of the right front foot, and the faint paw prints in back of the same foot.

How did I pick all that up? In Maine we become good trackers. In the Fall we have to make sure all the tourists are gone before we shed all our folksy fetching manners, and go back to acting like slobs and driving like idiots for the Winter. In the Spring when we see the first tourist tracks, the word goes out. 'Manners, people. 'Manners! (We need those tourist dollars.)

I actually think Diane's dog is a Western Canada sled dog. 'A wheel dog to be exact. If I remember correctly, the wheel dog is the one to either side right behind the lead dog that follows the turns of the leader turning the team; hence the term "wheel". As you can see from the picture goggles are a must for any dog behind the leader!

Snowball the wheel dog, eh?

The dog should have 'wheeled' itself into a different position then making 'tracks' to avoid the snow from the lead dog. I still think Diane was pelting it.

It's snowing, it's snowing... Temps dropped back down into the 30's. Time to put the polar bear suit back on again.

If I was a robin, I wouldn't come back to Michigan until next month.
