Okay, now you warm weather guys are going to get it!

Just because it's warmed up to -38, from -40 yesterday, don't mean it's not beautiful here with the clear blue skies, and the warm sunlight flooding through the windows! BUT . . .

When it's this cold, nothing beats a warm fire, two glasses of red wine, and a wolf fur rug to lie on! Add freshly baked blueberry pies, cherry pies, and homemade cinnamin buns! Then, before bed, a warm bath or shower! Add to that lots of time to play the piano because . . . the car won't start!

Take that!

I think summer all year round would be boring! Notice I said, "I think"! \:D

Jerry Groot...you put a hex on me!!!!!!! Until yesterday the weather here in Central Carolina was mid to upper 50's. About normal for this time of year.

Tonight the low is expected to be 12 out here in the hinterlands; tomorrow's high 30. Brrrrr!!! We just aren't used to this!!!

Good Job Ole Friend, Ole Buddy, Ole Pal!!!

One of Diane's cinnamon buns with a cuppa java sure would help!!!

Hey, I just looked at the weather map. It's 4* in Cincinnati now, and 7* in Grand Rapids. What's wrong with this picture? I'm 350 miles south of Jerry. It's suppose to be warmer.

It's so cold out there right now that my dog doesn't even like it!

-------

Don't get me laughing. Where I live, warming of any sort is welcome, global, local, or warming of any geographical measure.

I got so excited about Al Gore's "Global Warming" pontificating that I put in less firewood this year. 'BAD mistake!

Its warming up in Northeast Iowa. This morning we had an all-time record low for any day for the Waterloo area, -34 degrees. Decorah, Iowa was at -40 degrees this morning. I did not want to know what the wind chill was. I fell the the warmth moving in, it is only a -14 degrees right now. I wonder if the soundboards are drying out a little. More tunings down the line.

For the record, Global Warming doesn't mean that every place on earth is suddenly warmer. It means that there will be greater fluctuations between the extremes.

Which is kinda what we're seeing right now. These are some of the coldest days in decades.

Well, I'm glad we went to NAMM just in time.
It was 82 and sunny today. Staying here through Monday, by then Southern Florida should have warmed up again.

Was taking to the folks from Jansen today, they said it was 18 degrees in WI today (without the wind chill factor).

you sure? It is -14 down in Ft Wayne right now!

Just got back from playing a few holes of golf with the missus this afternoon. Kinda chilly toward the end - about 70 today mid-afternoon.

Toss them in the microwave, go outside, freeze yourself and then come in for a nice warm booger, er, burger. We got about another 6 inches or more yesterday.
