oooooo, we have a big thunderboomer on the way! Lighting, wind, the whole shabang!

Just put ant killer on my lawn. Good timing as it should rain right after. Now watch, it'll all miss me.

Actually no! 90 % of it missed me. Mostly it went south of Grand Rapids, that is, on the south end of town. Places like Holland Michigan (about 35 miles west of here) received over 7" of rain and have terrible flooding problems. The south end of GR also received a lot of rain and has some flooding issues.

We wound up with some lightening, thunder, and some rain but, nothing severe at all. We lucked out this time.

South of GR had tornado watches too.

I saw the stuff about that flooding one the news. There was a huge sinkhole too. Glad you guys escaped the worst of it.

Get this: We just ended a 29 day dry spell!! Really breaks the Pacific Northwest stereotype. I can't believe I'm actually glad to see a little rain. The humidity jumped from the low 40's to the mid-50's this past week. I'm thinking about all the pianos I tuned last month...

Thanks Howowitzian!

Holy cow Ryan. 29 days? Wow.

Here, it goes from cold to humid in a matter of hours and can reverse in minutes when a storm rolls in. Sometimes, it'll rain for a whole month on and off and can be very cloudy at times. Other times, it's beautiful. Hope that doesn't scare you people off! Michigan really is a pretty state. Take some extra time to travel up and over the Mackinaw Bridge if you can!

Still in the upper 90's this week. Summer is short here in Michigan so we enjoy the weather while we can get it!

And NO JERRY, wasn't me driving this truck and boat! wink

Bet it twas you!!! :-)))

Here is the graduate (Joe 19 this past May) with his older brother Jer Jr. 22 this past May.

Here is what a boat is supposed to look like. Looks dinky in the picture, it's 18.5' but, I put the wife to work cleaning it. After all Diane, isn't that woman's work anyway? (no that's not my house, it's the neighbor's house) Wish they'd paint it! grin

Here's another of her working on MY boat. if she wants a ride, she has to clean it. grin

We're a cockeyed bunch anyway... crazy

Looks like your wife's not the only on that works Jerry!

Here's a picture of Jerry at work!

My piano tuner just came over the other day and WOW! I played the piano at a venue and asked who tuned the piano! So I got his name and WOW! He's a GENIUS! What would we do without them! I'll say it again! WHAT WOULD WE DO WITHOUT THEM!
