Zoiks! We had a record breaking 101 degrees here in Olympia!! It supposed to be hotter tomorrow?! Dang, Ryan, you never see temps like that up there! Wow. I imagine the humidity is up too, being the Pacific Northwest and all...I experienced 108-112 degree temps (with humidity of course) during the heatwave in Oklahoma while visiting a couple weeks ago. The nighttime lows didn't fall out of the 80's.

Okay, we're scraping the bottom of the barrel now! Oooof, bang pow boom! Why did the turkey cross the road? To get to the beer truck for a cold one so he could roost.

How's this for a beer truck? Almost looks like a bullet.

Send it over here! I don't mind it warm!! It's a bit cooler today at 95 compared to yesterdays 101!! I've been spending the whole afternoon tearing carpet and padding out of the master bedroom, closet, and hall due to an overflowing bathtub!! I was going to take a cool dip and turned the tub on and then I get a call from a lady interested in restoring her 1908 Steinway Model A and needless to say I got distracted!! By the time I got off the phone and remembered what the heck I was doing there were many gallons of water on the floor! Luckily I sold a refurbishing job this morning, and I'm booked up until September. We are pretty overdue for new carpet too. No better time then the present! Better now, while its hot out than later on when its raining! Makes it a lot easier to store stuff in the driveway! Feeling very foolish,

Truck accidents Howie. Ryan, sorry to hear about your mess. But, here's the good news..... Just think, that nice Steinway job will be to pay for all of your repairs. I know, not funny.
