It has been tuned regularly and the individual wants $3,000 for the piano. Please let me know about this particular model and if the price is fair. Thanks

It featured high styled integral legs and boxed lid top and additional cabinet adornments. They were tall for consoles 46" and equaled studio performance. They were built in Kawai's Lincolnton, North Carolina factory. The 902M was the Mediterranean Oak style. Back then they would have retailed on a discount basis for about $4k. The comparable current model would be the 907 series. Co-Author of The Complete Idiot's Guide To Buying A Piano. A "must read" before you shop. Work for west coast dealer for Yamaha, Schimmel, Bosendorfer, Wm. Knabe.
