So I decided to buy a digital piano and I've narrowed my decision down to these two. They're fairly comparable in terms of price, so that's not really an issue. I've played the P155 and I like it quite a bit, but the SP2Xs seems to have more features. The only problem is, I've never been able to actually find and play the model. Anyway, what do you think? Would you take the Yamaha P155 or the Kurzweil SP2Xs?

I'm making the same choice, but am also considering the Kurzweil "Mark Pro TWOi S" and the Roland FP-4.

If you can't find an SP2XS to play, you may at least be able to try an SP2X at your local Guitar Center. No speakers, but the action and samples are the same.

Haven`t tried SP2Xs, but SP2X has a bit loud keyboard. This may distract others while you are playing with headphones. I also prefer P155 action, but its quite personal. Another thing - the onboard song recorder in P155 is quite useful while SP2Xs lacks it.

You`d better try SP2Xs (or at least SP2X if the mechanics is same) with your own hands and choose the winner.

Thanks for the advice, everyone! Yeah, the onboard song recorder gives the P155 the edge. I guess I'll check out the Mark Pro TWOi S too.

The Kawai EP3 is another option.
