Dear technicians!

Having read some interesting stuff here at the technicians forum, I would like to try out a non ET-tuning.

I am interested in EBVT III and Thomas Young's 1799 temperament. What are the differences between these two? Are there any other temperament I should consider?

Best regards,

Take some time to study and understand the graphs at www.rollingball.com

These can help you to "preview" a tuning before taking the time to place it on a piano. The two you listed are very different "strengths". Kindof like asking if you'd like one shake or 12 shakes of pepper on that soup... ;-)

Good luck!
