Hello to all -- I'm contemplating a CLP 120 via craigslist and have been talking to the seller and found an owner's manual online as well. I'm curious about one thing in particular and hope that someone may have some input for me.

The owner's manual says that the thing can be hooked up to a cassette player(!!!!!) to record performances, but I'm wondering if I can't get a decent audio card for my computer and hook it up to that instead. The output diagram for the thing follows; AUX OUT are the outputs that the manual directs you to send to the tape deck:

Does anyone have any experience at pushing the output from something like this into a computer's audio card?

Thanks for any advice!!

If it works with a tape recorder it'll work with a sound card. You just need some appropriate software to handle the recording (typically supplied with the soundcard, or try a free program like audacity)

Ooh, open-source audio editing. Lovely, thank you!

And I think my computer does have a sound card now that I think about it. I've made some (short) foreign language recordings with a mic using the windows sound recorder thing.

Thanks! If audacity works nicely, I may be ready to hook something up already if I walk to Radio Shack and get an RCA-to-audio-dealie cable.
