Has anyone checked out the new Baldwin website...interesting to note that they list their MSRP's for everyone to see. Also, if you click on the L1, and read the review, a Baldwin owner states that new L1's are no longer made in Ark., while a reply message states that the Ark. plant is still open, just re-tooled, so to speak....

Interesting. If that's true, Baldwin was very stupid to let everyone think it closed the Ark. plant. Also, using the Baldwin name on the BH models is unfairly deceptive... some people think Boston is made by Steinway; imagine what some people will think about this (the crescent over the "i" is a lame attempt to distinguish these pianos from the artist grands).
That said, I recently played a Gibson era SF-10 and thought that it was still a first rate piano.

Baldwin seems to have lost the Baldwin.Com URL, using BaldwinPiano.com instead. Is this recent?
Baldwin.com is owned by a media company of some sort. Hard to tell exactly what it is from the web site.

I've noticed what I believe are some inaccuracies in the specs. For example, the A0 speaking length in the several different sized verticals I checked was listed as 48" for all of them, and for the B275 grand it was 59". I thought the B252 would be 54" (if it's the same as the 6000) and the B275 would be abour 79" (if it's the same as the SD10).
Also, is there a site where I could see medium to high resolution (at least 1024 to 1600, preferably 3264 (8 megapixel) to 5616 (Canon 5D Mark II) pixels wide or larger) digital photos of the internals of the current vertical models? Or better yet is there a place in San Diego area (including North County areas) where I can see & play them, now that Ric Overton is no longer a Baldwin Dealer?

The local newspaper seems to think the plant is all but closed..... Trumann Democrat Latest update is that some Wurlitzer jukebox warehousing will be going on at the site, but no new piano manufacturing except to finish up existing orders. That site doesn't say a thing about support for Baldwin or other pianos, but at least CS will answer questions about them.
