This piano tutorial demonstrates pretty well how Elton John actually played this song. Can experienced players tell me if there is anything wrong with it - compared to solo piano arrangements I have seen that are quite different.

Is this a good way to learn?

It does sound very good, I wish I could play like that but it's not a tutorial.

Ok I checked, this guy has many tutorials, they look good and it's free but most of the videos are accompaniment piano and I don't sing.

I have found his lessons are really excellent. And the melody of many songs are built up from the chords so this is a good lesson. I also like the complete disregard for scores and yet sound harmonic structure. But Elton John's solos on some songs are pretty difficult to get down being extremely subtle and semi-classical as they are.

While I could hear the melody [ in some of the places] it all sounds more like an accompaniment to me. I've never done an arrangement of this song. It might be interesting.
