Curious if anyone has ever found good audiobooks for piano/music theory/etc..

i sometimes make my own, but its a pain. I have a 90 minute commute, and would love to be able to do ear training or even listen to concepts and instruction while i stare out the window...

thanks for the help!

They are not specifically about piano or music theory, but The Teaching Company has a great series of music history / appreciation courses. You can find these at libraries or order them at www.teach12.com . Almost all the music courses are lectured by Robert Greenberg and he is very entertaining. If you choose to buy them, watch for sales, they rotate what products are on sale quite frequently. For example, right now they have "Great Masters: Beethoven His Life and Music" on sale for $19.95 download and $24.95 audio cd's. There are also DVD versions.

Thank you for posting this question and link to the teach12 website! I have a long commute also and I've been looking for these types of audiobooks.

I did a quick search on Audible, and came up with this:
http://www.audible.com/adbl/site/pr...ID=BK_BLAK_000759&BV_UseBVCookie=Yes
I'm a big fan of Audible since I too have a long commute. Can't say I know anything about this book though.
