There's not really much to say. All I will say is this is based off two ABRSM List C pieces (Mozzie and Jackson Street Blues) and it's my first attempt at writing something Jazzy. I'm still learning about chord theory so any help/CC is welcomed!

I think what you have done works really well. To me it has the feel of something that WC Handy might have written and has an early 20th century feel to it. I enjoyed listening to the piece and it seems to be telling a story which unfolds as the song goes on. My only criticism is a minor one, which is that the ending did not feel like an ending as much as a lead back to the main section and I wanted the song to keep on going.

Thanks for your kind words. My teacher said that the ending didn't feel right either but I've always been taught a piece should end in the key it started and I never intended this piece to be longer than a few minutes.

I do like how your only criticism is that it ended! Though of course that's not EXACTLY what you meant, it's quite funny. smile
