Hello,

I heard some piano music recently and I was only able to discern a few notes from it. I made a really sloppy picture using a staff with the notes that I know from what I presume was the melody. I was just wondering if anyone here would be able to help me out.

The B's are flats. The top part is like at the beginning of the music and the bottom part is in the middle somewhere.
Let me know if you have any more questions. Thank you very much.

I knew that the notes of the top staff sounded familiar: it's the Long's Pharmacy On Hold Music. smile

I can't glean anything from your bottom staff because it has six lines.

Well the bottom staff is the normal E G B D F, and there's an extra line above which is A.

But yeah, I heard this music while I was on hold on the phone with Staples. Could be the same thing. Thanks for the info.

If anyone really wants to hear the full song, you can call the Staples store after hours. You will here a voice operator saying the store is closed etc.. and after that the song will play in full duration.

513-754-0235
They are open from
Monday - Friday: 8:00am-9:00pm
Saturday: 9:00am-9:00pm
Sunday: 11:00am-6:00pm
EASTERN TIME
So Id recommend just calling sometime later at night.
To verify that the number is actually to a store
Google search for - Staples Mason Montgomery Rd - and look at the store number listed.

This is the piano forum. Threads here discuss acoustic pianos not transcription. Try one of the other forums like pianist corner

The OP already posted in the Pianist Corner earlier today. (If you click on a member's name, then "View Posts," you can see their posting history.)
