It's Fun to Play the Piano ... Please Pass It On!
Geez, no kidding. My wife wants to throw my laptop out the window! Why and what is so compelling about all the threads at PW I can't say, I just know that I am beginning to have a problem... Maybe we'll need to start weekly PWA meetings/lock-ins? (no internet allowed, including cell phones!). I elect Nrrebot (name anonymized...slightly) to conduct the meetings
I think I first joined PianoWorld in 1999, but had been active on rmmp for several years already. Steve Cohen was already a member here when I joined. I miss Rick Clark and Joy, (They "met" here and have been an item ever since), Larry, Cork, Dwain, Jolly, and all the old bunch.
I am also happy to have so many knowledgable and likable new members, too.
My Keyboards: Estonia L-190, Roland RD88, Yamaha P-80, Bilhorn Telescope Organ c 1880, Antique Pump Organ, 1850 concertina, 3 other digital pianos ------------------------- My original piece on BandCamp: https://frankbaxtermrpianoworld.bandcamp.com/releases
Me banging out some tunes in the Estonia piano booth at the NAMM show...

Frank, while we're talking about the subscriptions, with the old software we used to be able to scroll over our avatar and see when our subscriptions expired. I don't think that works any more. (Or, if it did, my platinum subscription already expired and I need to re-up! ) Is there any way to find out easily when we should re-subscribe?

For some reason the new software didn't carry over the title links. Let me look into it. I keep a spread sheet of all subscribers.
While we had lots of members jump in to help from 2005-2007, 2008 dropped off drastically, for 2009 there have been very few Subscribers .

Probably need to remind us every now and then. Maybe a fund drive auction with items we need but don't buy- say a nice metronome, or maybe a red felt keyboard cover, or maybe a Bosie... just saying.
I like the idea of changing "subscribe" to "donate". I donate to a couple of other places I frequent. Hm. I should check my credit card bill to see if I remembered to renew PW this year :\
Maybe we could pin a thread titled "The Everyone Chips in $5 for PW Continuing" thread

Perhaps "more music" is always the answer, no matter what the question might be! - Qwerty53
