This custom search works much better than the built in one and allows searching older posts.

Do you have success teaching your own children piano? I hate to admit this but I have been very lax in this area. I find by the end of the evening I am so burned out with students AND with a full studio, the piano is rarely free to practice.

Um yeah.... I tried that. I had no problem putting on the "teacher hat" the boys just couldn't put on the "student hat". They were young, probably under 10. I traded with another piano teacher. She taught mine, and I taught hers. Much better

I taught both of my kids from a young age until about Jr High. Then the eye rolling and attitude started and that was my signal to find someone else. But it worked great until then. I also teach my niece and nephews.
