Piano World party anyone?

Please join us as we celebrate the opening of our new showroom and music school in Stamford, CT on Sunday, September 13th, starting at 2:00PM!

All Piano World members are cordially invited!!! smile

Yes…it’s probably the most belated Piano world party ever…as construction for our new building took about a year longer than expected.
But as we’re finally settled in, it is now the time to celebrate!!!

In addition to refreshments, in attendance shall be some of the most wonderful pianos available, made by Bluthner, Bosendorfer, Steingraeber, Estonia, Steinway, August Forster and more…

Also, special guests as Dr. Christian Bluthner of Bluthner pianos, and Udo Steingraeber of Steingraeber pianos, already confirmed their arrival from Europe.
BosiEric is rumored to have already started his journey from faraway Norwalk, CT, and Estonia pianos has a special surprise planned! thumb

Other industry guests are sure to come as well.

We are located about 45 minutes by car or train from Mid Town Manhattan, 30 – 35 minutes drive from George Washington, Whitestone, or Tappan Zee bridges…and only minutes from Westchester county NY…so whether you’re coming from Fairfield county, Westchester,NYC, Long Island or New Jersey,…we’re within easy reach!

We're at 1068 Long Ridge Rd. in Stamford CT. 06903,
exit 34 on the Merritt Parkway (Long Ridge Road). When heading North from NYC, make a left at the end of the exit ramp, and we're about 300 yards on the left side.

We’re looking forward to seeing you all!
Those who may be able to attend, please let me know.

I'd love to attend, but alas, time and distance do not permit it.

Thanks Ori,

Not sure we can get there as we're already flying up for the Cape Cod party in October. But would love to attend. Will let you know.

If I do get to come, I'll try to remember my platform shoes in case I end up standing next to Christian:-)

Folks, if you can make it to this event, by all means go, and don't forget to take pictures.
Ori's new store is gorgeous, and full of wonderful toys for the piano lover.

I'll be there 'with bells on' to attend THIS GALA GATHERING!

Hoping to get the crew from New England to join in the festivities.

Hmmmmm...let's see, what piano might I try out first?
Or...maybe this will be a sit back and enjoy all the others playing party...
I know there will be some heavy hitters attending!

PARTY TIME!

Ori,

Alanna and I are planning on attending (we've been down your way twice this summer, but we've missed you both times). Aaron (from Yamaha) *might* be attending as well, I haven't heard back from Paul, but I did ask him.

I have seen the new facility from the outside, and wow - what a great job you did!

Lililady, Jeff BC and Rick.
It will be great to see you here!

Frank, we’re all looking forward to seeing You as well, so Please try to make it happen.

By the way. It seems that today’s hot topic is the new Larry Fine supplement piano guide…Well, Larry is coming as well, and promised to bring some signed copies of the new guide with him!

To Piano Dad and those who can’t make it, and especially Apple whom I wanted to meet for years (I hope you feel better soon!), there is plenty of time to change your mind and take a train, plane or car ride…but if not, we hope to see you another time.

In any case, thank you all for the comments on the new showroom…it took awhile to build but I think it was worth the wait!

I'd like to go but I live in San Diego. Now what about a piano party out here? Malibu, San Diego, San Francisco ... now that would be something huh?

ok, so when are you having one? cool

We've had a few parties in LA and San Juan Capistrano (did I spell that anywhere near right?).

But I'd love one in any of the places you mentioned.

I used to go to San Diego and Carlsbad frequently when I worked for McGraw-Hill (publishing company). One of my favorite places in the country. Loved San Francisco too. Haven't been to Malibu.

Frank and LJC,

This is fantastic!
It'll be great to see you here.

I noticed that I forgot to post our address...

We're at 1068 Long Ridge Rd. in Stamford CT. 06903.
I'll edit my first post to mention this as well.

Looking forward to seeing you all.

Ori,

Congratulations on your new fine piano store! Hope both you and the store are doing well.

Thanks for the invite, and the three of us (wife, son and self) will be there - we never turn down a free party grin.

Would appreciate either address (preferred), or GPS coordinaets, or direction for your store.

From Ori's post above yours:

"We're at 1068 Long Ridge Rd. in Stamford CT. 06903.
I'll edit my first post to mention this as well."

The store is right off the Merritt Parkway.

Ori, which exit is it?

Looking forward to seeing you there Maxwell.

James,

It'll be great to see you guys here!

Yes we are right off exit 34 on the Merritt Parkway (Long Ridge Road). When heading North from NYC, make a left at the end of the exit ramp, and we're about 300 yards on the left side.

The signage on the building is rather clear and states in addition to 'allegro Pianos' , also 'Long Ridge Music center" which is our music school.

Oh…and Frank...for whatever reason I can't edit my first post to add directions. Any idea how to fix it?
