Hi guys, am I right in saying that semiquavers are not supposed to be swung in swing music? I ask this because I am working towards jazz grade 4 and I've chosen Freddie Freeloader (Miles Davis) as my blues piece. In the suggested baseline for the solo ABRSM have put semiquavers at the end of bars 1, 3, 5, 7. If they are played straight, how an earth do I improvise quavers at the end of those bars!?
