I'd love to see a real V-Piano vs Avant Grand comparison/face-off. Obviously, the Avant-Grand wins on looks. But which one really sounds and plays better? It's not clear from the demos (where they *both* sound awesome).

Let's have Pianoworld organize a play off and broadcast it via life video feed over pianoworld. It will get you great publicity as you can mention it to the media. I would guess neither Roland or Yamaha would be interested in supporting this, so you would have to buy both instruments, but you could have a raffle afterwards to all pianoworld active users where each post count on their profile gives them one raffle chance...

Horrible recording quality. (Very compressed, even in HD mode). I still haven't heard an excellent (or even good) quality audio demo of this instrument.

As for the V-Piano, even if the modeling stuff doesn't make it to the Roland HP line, the PHA III action probably would....

That's actually backwards, IMHO. You will eventually see the modeling trickle down to all their pianos . . . You likely won't see the PHAIII action, at least the V-Piano form, make it to a lot of the other product lines. Lawrence
