It was pretty hard to find any deals on the new Casio pianos since all local stores and online vendors seem to be selling them for the exact same price. And no coupons or sales seem to matter since it looks like all vendors have conspired to exclude the same brands. I initially wanted to pickup the px-750 from a local store to make a defective return easier, but ended up ordering it online after confirming that the vendor will pay for the shipping on defective returns. Most places had free shipping and no tax ($80 savings for me), but I finally ordered from Kraft Music since they included a flip-top bench, among other little things, for $30 extra. The bench is $80 if ordered separately, so I guess I'm saving $50. The bench probably only costs them $10, but I'll take any kind of perceived savings I can get.

I wanted a nord stage 2 so much, but I really couldn't afford one. I kept placing bids on ebay for refurbished models, but since my bids were so low I always got outbid. Well, I placed one final bid, as high as I could go, and decided that if that bid didn't win I would give up on my quioxtic quest and choose a different keyboard. I got outbid a couple of hours later. That was it, no nord stage 2 for me. But, a few days later, and an hour before the auction ended, the bidder retracted their bid, leaving me the high bidder. And I won the auction.

A couple of days later, the vendor emailed me that the refurbished model they had listed had failed their burn in tests and was defective. They wanted to know if I would like a refund or would I prefer them to ship me a brand new stage 2 for the price I had already paid. (I'm not sure if they were kidding about the refund, who would take that!? lol) Anyway, I ended up with a brand new stage 2 at a pretty great price, and I love it.

Had the infamous keybed problem, korg replaced it with a brand new Kronos. Had a key that didn't play at the correct velocity, korg looked at it, couldn't replicate the problem, I got t back and still had the problem

Shop I bought it from (pmt Norwich) offered to swap it for a brand new Kronos X at no extra cost, meaning I bought the 88 Kronos X for £2709 instead of the cheapest advertised price of £3149.

A friend told me about this store and I called them up when I got off work at 6pm. Rod answered the phone and I asked how late they are open. He said, "6pm but I can wait around for a bit for you". When I got there the store was amazing, the sales people were excellent and I just a had a great time. It took me 20 minutes to get there and the guy was completely patient and professional. I decided that I would buy from them because of the excellent service. I came there interested in upgrading from my Casio Privia PX120 and I ended up buying a Kawai mp6. The Casio just was not inspiring me because of the generic piano sound and the beginner feel.


What an upgrade!!! I think it was about time since I have 2 piano teachers and I play hours a day.


I am not sure if $1288 was the best price but even if I paid more I do not care because I love that store and I will buy my next piano from them if I am in Indiana when I go to get my Grand Piano in 2 years!
