This is a fingering efficiency question, related to the descending RH figuration in bars 35-36. Here's bars 35-36 for context: And here's the figuration in question: I already have something sort of worked out that basically uses 1-4 and 1-5 with 3 for the single notes. I might try the suggestions in these pics, but I'd love to hear any thoughts on fingering this passage for greatest smoothness and efficiency. Thanks!

I think it's important to keep the line : A-flat, G, F, G, F, E as legato as possible. The suggested fingering in the image seems to assure that.

The fingering for the melody looks to be the only way to play this legato. The others must be picked up with the thumb and index (or, you know, that other finger ) Are you uncomfortable with part of that? I'm a little confused by your fingering comments.

Bruce — Thanks! I will give that a try then. Damon — No, not really. I'm just wondering about the possibilities.
