Compatibility issue with player CD discs

I contacted Pianodisc regarding a collection of Disclavier CDs I'd like to purchase and wanted to know if they would be compatible with my Pianodisc PianoCD player (with silent drive format, if that information helps). They told me I could buy all the discs I wanted through Pianodisc.com. Well, duh. Of COURSE they're going to promote their own tunes, but that wasn't what I asked them. I asked them if they would play on each other. Naturally, the music I want is NOT available at Pianodisc. Anybody out there know definitively?

I understand your frustration. PianoCD by PianoDisc will only playback PianoDisc material. However, the 228cfx by PianoDisc does include support for YAMAHA Disklavier Floppies (3.5”), & QRS Pianomation (via CD input only). Talk to your dealer which sold you your PianoDisc system and ask if you could upgrade to the PianoDisc 228cfx front end unit.
