Can you convert a mp3 piano tune to a midi file and use it on a player piano....yahama /disklavier, it uses floppies. Also can you still buy music on floppies for a player piano, I have seen them but all were on CD.

MP3->MIDI = very difficult. There are a few programs that claim to be able to do this, but it's very tricky with more than a couple of polyphonic voices.
You can still buy disklavier-compatible floppies. Actually, I think you should be able to format an ordinary floppy disk to the earlier 720Mb format and copy MIDI files onto it from a CD or wherever. I have to confess I haven't tried it, however.

I did find a converter, but when playing back the conversion from mp3 to midi it left out some of the notes...that was on the computer, have not tried it on the player yet, I'll try it today. I'm still searching for a site that sells midi on a floppy disk for it. Thanks..
