If you’re a fan of Ludovico Einaudi’s previous work, check out his upcoming album ‘Nightbook’ -- a musical meditation on the transition between light and darkness, the known and the unknown. It is released October 19th.

Here’s a short video by Einaudi about Nightbook:

Oh, I wish I were! I saw him play in San Francisco a year ago and it was a wonderful concert; my only complaint is that I wanted him to play longer!

Please do come back here after the show and give us a detailed review.

I saw him last night at the birmingham symthony hall.I didnt want it to end.

The music was minimalist, classical, ambient, contemporary and deeply touching, the welcome sound of stillness in a hectic world.

The sound of the piano was very atmospheric obtained with the blending of strings, percussions and from the use of electronics.

Regards
Daz

Yes, it was good (well, in Manchester in my case). I loved it. I got the Nightbook music sheet after the concert (after checking that it is not available on Amazon). Of course, I won't be able to play it for, probably, a few years yet, but I have it!!! Oh, and I ordered a selection of his CDs this morning (well, almost all). I have heard him before many times, but never had a CD...
