I'm an entertainer, run my own entertainment business and direct a small choir. Do companies like Yamaha or Casio give discounts to those who are musically active in the community? How would I go about getting a discount on a digital piano if that's the case? I know that a teacher at my school got a keyboard somewhere around half price last year. Would I be eligible for a discount like that because of my entertaining?
Who could I talk to about that? Do I write to the company directly????

I think they only give those kinds of discounts to educators and churches. You'd be better off working with a local store who might give you a discount for getting their name out there.
