Anyone know anything about this keyboard....I purchased recently for low $'s.....But, was told that it needed the foam replaced......the keys click because the foam is bad.....Other than this plays great. I would like to fix this if not too hard a fix?

The MP9000 was the first of KAWAI's MP stage pianos, and produced approximately ten years ago.

It utilises a wooden-key action that, despite its age, and obvious wear, should still offer a realistic, responsive playing experience.

In terms of technical specifications, the MP9000 is a little dated (64 note polyphony, only 16 sounds), however if correctly serviced/repaired, will serve as an excellent practise instrument or MIDI controller (e.g. connected to a computer running Ivory, PianoTeq, etc.).

My recommendation would be to contact KAWAI America http://www.kawaius-tsd.com/pages/contact.html to enquire into the possibility of having the instrument professionally serviced/repaired.
