It comes with a Peavy KB/A 100 amp and a hard case, used for 1 year home use only and not much and let's say excellent condition for benefit of the doubt. Should I buy or wait for better piano?

Ok I respect your opinion. I've had about 5 DP, 3 of them were used and I never had problems with any of them. I've tried the p155 and heard the p80 being played and I like it. The only reason I'm considering this is because my rd300sx died due to a faulty stand and someone stole my kurzwiel and where I live it's not worth it to buy a new piano (both of the above were new) and resale of a new dp is non existent here. The idea here in P.R. is to buy cheap, in great condition and good resale value. Also I'm not gonna be here much so I'm not gonna buy a $2000 dp to ether sell for $900 or pay another shipping charge for an already overpriced dp.

KeVan, perhaps you should elaborate. Some people DO care about cases, and things like that.
Honestly, $800 seems a bit high. If you are using this as a home piano, you probably won't want to use the amp or the case so essentially, you're getting the $800 piano with some rarely-used extras. $800 isn't bad if you LOVE the amp and case, but if you can live without them I would hold out for a cheaper piano without the extras.

Yeah I thought so, I just wanted to be sure... the lowest he would go was $700 I'll just see if he'll sell me the amp for $75 if it's like new. Thanks LesCharles

Hi, I have a p-80 and I think that $800 is the high end of the retail market for the used p-80's , I know they seem to go for $600- $800, I hope this helps, they are die hard pianos, aloha.

There is a person selling a P-80 in my city for $750.00 (CAD) and that is with NO amp. If an amp and a case were included I wouldn't even be asking for advice here, I'd go for it! The P-80 from what I've witnessed, is a highly sought after DP and the asking prices I've seen reflect that. Rob

it's too high price for a P80, which is the previous model of P90. P90 was about $1000 new, and the used would be $800 or less, and therefore, P80 should be even less, and i wouldn't pay more than $700 for that. i don't know how much would be the used Amps, so add something on that. I'm tempted to buy the P-80 but I already have a P-60 and also a P-85, which I want to sell. I am an adult beginner to piano so I think I'll stick with what I have until I get better. I am improving as I go along. I would like to eventually upgrade to higher end Yamaha DP like a P-250 or CP-300. A CP-33 might even be enough for me but I want to earn it by improving to an acceptable level first. Rob

Well I didn't buy the one at the top but another guy is selling one in $550 only piano, but still has the guarantee and was bought 3 months ago. He had it in his studio 'cause he was gonna make a cd but he needs to pay the rent so basically unused.
