When I look at the Abel website, it shows many different hammers for Bosendorfer, Grotrian, Yamaha and so on. What is diferrent about them? Are they different in density, hardness or something else? Thanks.

The shape of hammers for the North American market are sometimes different than what is installed by European instrument makers.

Also there is the way the felt is applied to the moldings…hot press…cold press…… double-wrapped and single wrapped ………varying widths and lengths…… lots to choose from with Abel.
