I still love to play Anna Madalena's notebook , and use my old Schirmer Caroll editions from childhood. Carroll’s “First Lessons in Bach” relies heavily on Anna Magdalena’s notebook, excepting: Book 1: Nos. 6,7,8,11,12, & 15, and Book 2: Nos. 2, 4, 10 (from English Suites), Book 2: No. 5 from an Overture, Book 2: No. 9 from a Partita, & Book 2: No. 12 from a Suite. Can anyone help me figure out exactly where they came from???
(p.s. – have already figured that Book #7 = French Suite 5, Gavotte, #8 = FS 6, Petite Minuet, & 11 = FS 2, Minuet I.
