Weeding out the attic of a relative who saved everything, I came across this program. Amazing the program he performed.
Variations in F Minor Haydn Rondo A Minor Mozart Appassionata Beethoven Ballade in F Minor Chopin Nocturne B Major Op 62 " Mazurka F sharp Minor Op. 59 Chopin Impromptu Schubert Love-death from Tristan Wagner-Liszt
All this for $2.50 a ticket!! Is there a pianist today who could duplicate this performance? Paderewski was 78 at the time.
Also, the back of program announced a future performance by Marian Anderson, 'renowned Negro contralto'. Thank heaven, we no longer feel the need to mention a performer's race.
Just thought you might enjoy hearing of this bit of piano memorabilia. I will treasure it.

Thanks for posting this. Actually, there's an incredible number of active pianists today who could double this. But still, it's impressive.
