I have been playing on a Casio Privia and I really dont have any complaints, but today I was browsing craigslist and saw an ad for a Hallet & Davis Co. piano for 200 dollars. Would this be a good buy for this type of piano if it is in good condition like the ad says? I have read that this is just a generic name for some pianos being manufactured in China but im not sure. I realize that this piano probably wont have the best tone or bass and im ok with that. The price is cheap enough that I would be willing to take a gamble if you guys think its a good price. I am clueless when it comes to pianos and assessing their value. Thanks btw here is the link with some photos. Pictures

Pass. The costs to move it are higher than the piano is worth.

Is the actual piano itself not worth the 200 dollars? I am asking because I would be able to pick up and transport the piano myself.

The picture shows a cheap Aeolian-made spinet from the '70s. It's probably worth the $200, but the problem is it's not better than your Privia, so I'm not sure why you'd want to spend the time and money to bring it in your house. If you want an acoustic, don't buy something that sounds worse than your digital. Get something bigger.
There's a reason pianos like this aren't made anymore. They aren't competitive with digitals.
