It's about time I changed my avatar anyway.....off to look for a new one[/b] !!

Or maybe I'll pull out one[/b] of the ones[/b] I have used in the past!

I was one[/b] member from long ago,
One[/b] who bought, and one[/b] who sold
One[/b] Heinzman, one[/b] Estonia, one[/b] Sauter too.
The Coffee Room was home
Before the big to-do.
I returned tonight to lurk awhile
This one[/b] thread sure made me smile.
So I came, I lurked;
I read bits of Bach.
But I now must go
For it's one[/b] o'clock.

Welcome to the forum, bigbeardale!

Last night I watched one[/b] good basketball game as the UK Wildcats pulled off an authoritative victory over Villanova. Now all we have to do is beat Kansas...

A little golden star was found,
Upon a forum thread.
When asked what he was doing here,
I'm lost the fellow said.

But more and more came everyday,
To see this grand new land.
In ones, and twos and threes and fours,
And Fives, hand in hand.

There was no thought of going back,
I guess they're here to stay.
But locals don't want company,
And tempers start to fray.

Let us live in peace they pleaded,
We're here to help you see,
Which topic's worth a closer look,
And where that thread may be.

We'll work for you, and sweat and toil,
Without one cent of pay.
And if you don't much like our work,
Divert your eyes away.

Thanks for the Welcome Monica. Here in the Pittsburgh Pa area, we are enjoying 1 fine young hockey team. Just hope they do good in the playoffs. Lots of teenagers that are doing good. Kind of hard to beleive these guys are beating everyone.

This is an amazing community -- compliments to Frank and Piano World!

To my partner and best friend for 22 years.....so glad your suffering is over, one day we will meet again.....

One More Day[/b]
(Steven Dale Jones/Bobby Tomberlin)

Last night I had a crazy dream
A wish was granted just for me
It could be for anything
I didn't ask for money
Or a mansion in Malibu
I simply wished, for one more day with you

One more day
One more time
One more sunset, maybe I'd be satisfied
But then again
I know what it would do
Leave me wishing still, for one more day with you

First thing I'd do, is pray for time to crawl
Then I'd unplug the telephone
And keep the TV off
I'd hold you every second
Say a million I love you's
That's what I'd do, with one more day with you

One more day
One more time
One more sunset, maybe I'd be satisfied
But then again
I know what it would do
Leave me wishing still, for one more day with you

Leave me wishing still, for one more day
Leave me wishing still, for one more day

Rocky, how beautiful. Such thoughts as these hit just about everyone with a heart.

There are people I would trade away everthing for just one more day. It is sad we do not always feel that way when it doesn't matter.

So sorry for your loss, and glad that any physical pain is over. And I love your poem/song.

rocky, I'm sorry for your loss. To lose anybody who is close to you is tough, but to lose your one best friend is irreplaceable. You are in our thoughts. \:\(
