Back to read new posts on this thread . . . ONE more time!

This is like a soap opera, always tuning in again. I quit watching those 20 years ago because I figured I'd be dead before I ever found out the "ending". - maybe what will happen with this thread.

Look on the bright side, Mr Super Hunky, you may just get the #1 prize for "Best on Piano World for Starting the Longest Threads." Between this and the pic. one, you could be in the running for Piano World's longest thread record.

I made 1 post to the new 2 thread, but felt drawn to come back here for some reason. It's just 1 of those things you can't explain I guess.

1 day, some1 will make 1 post that will end this 1 thread for all times. I 1der who that will be?

Yes, Miss Amber seems to have quite a bit of princess in her!!

And, yes, Monica- that is, indeed, Morning Glories.... It's the ONE piece I had been playing before I took the picture!

1...ah, 1. How would I get to 2 without thee?

Hi SC85 and other 1ers - sorry for the late response. To give an intro:

I'm an on-again off-again player. Took piano lessons as a kid, quit after 8 years to pursue the electric guitar (like many early teen-agers). I've been dreadfully regretting quitting lessons ever since, as I slowly watch my skills wane.

I still consider myself an adult beginner because I've developed some bad piano playing habits since quitting as a kid and have become an ear-player. I came to this forum to see if anyone had exercises for scale/chord memorization for the impatient player . As not to plague this thread with an actual subject \:\) I'll look through other thread to pursue this topic (maybe someone can point me to one?)

Anyways, I'm also comparitively green in the forum world, but I'm happy to see such a great group of users with a common passion. Cheers!

jangy-

The ONE you want would be the topic called: "OT-Tell us about yourself". That would be the ONE in which to tell us your whole sordid story- the sordid-er, the better! ;\)

That's one[/b] wise decision. You can start a new thread asking for memorization tips; you can also search the archives (click on 'search' at top of the page) for scales, memorization, etc. and you will find a wealth of advice.
