Hi everyone,
Unfortunately, due to lack of sufficient participation (with less than 10 submissions from less than 5 composers) I don't think it will be worth continuing this project for this session.
I may have time to organise another session if there is interest. A couple of points have sprung to my mind:
1. Maybe a smaller time-window would be more practical, then the enthusiasm doesn't "die off" during the process.
2. Better co-ordination by the co-ordinator - I must apologise for this: I had hoped to be in regular touch with all interested participants, but personal circumstances have taken a rather unexpected turn.
So that's it from me. My thanks and apologies to composers who have submitted their work. I will, of course, delete the files from my server as to respect the licensing agreement.
Tar
P.S. to Kreisler, do feel free to un-sticky the related threads!

I'm not a moderator here, I don't have sticky powers.
Also, I had tried to submit a couple times last week, but the website was down, maybe others had the same problem?

Wow, that's disappointing! But I understand, given the low level of participation. Maybe a lot of us just procrastinated too long? I submitted 5 on deadline day but didn't get around to selecting 2 for the part where forum members can vote. Maybe there were others who just dropped the ball and waited too long. How about an extension with a reminder and encouragement for people to participate? If, not, I understand. This was a big deal for me, but evidently I was a very small minority! Thanks for all the work you put into it, sorry it didn't work out. Larry

Sorry to hear about this lack of enthusiasm considering all the work Tar has put in. Here is a link to my pieces and scores anyway. My music is as rough as a bear's backside as usual but I don't want to set the world on fire so it doesn't really matter. Two places of the world
