I just noticed that Casio is offering a 3 year warranty on musical instruments on their UK site. The normal warranty is 2 years over there, but they are throwing in an extra year if the buyer registers on the UK site. Wonder why the warranty is longer overseas than here in the U.S.? This looks to be a promotional offer so maybe business is slow there. Anybody think the products are made better overseas?

I thought casio only offered a 1 year warranty standard?

Each market determines their own distribution, pricing and warranty coverage based on local market conditions and expectations. All of the products come from the same factories, there is no quality differential.
