I'm new to this forum (first post) and I was just wondering if I could get peoples opinon on a first keyboard to buy.
My budget is in the 3-4 hundred range. Can I get anything remotley good? I'm not seeking to be a classical composer, just something to occupy my time. Did I say I play the bass guitar? That has to help, no? With that I know a little theory and a little bass clef. Anyway, any advice would be greatly appreciated.

I sent one of these back because i had a couple of adjacent keys hitting together on their edges but the obvious answer in that range is still the casio Privia PX130. You should have a 45 day or so return guarantee from most places online like musicians friend so if the keys start doing this or otherwise start acting up you can return it. Also there's a 1 year warranty from casio. If you can get a sale price you might get it for 400 but right now it's 499 most places a little above your price....but you could email a few online shops and ask if they'd honor the 400 price alot of place had during labor day and will no doubt have again.
