Roland RD700 vs DP990 samples

Does anyone know whether the samples on the Roland RD700 and DP990 are the same. I certainly enjoy playing the latter more, but if they are the same, then presumably I could tweak the former and also enjoy the extra functionality of the RD700.

Do you really mean RD-700? Or do you mean RD-700sx or do you mean RD-700GX? Three models that are quite different. The RD-700 is quite old, so I suspect that this is not the model you are referencing.

Sorry, Lawrence, I meant the latest incarnation, the RD700GX. I used to own a RD700 and since it was borrowed by someone not leaving a calling card, I'm considering replacing it with the newer model or just going with something different.
