thanks again, Copper.

Did you keep score for baseball games when you were younger? I did, and this kind of thing is right up my alley laugh

Wonder who will get the '1000th Recital Performance' award? It will either be at the end of the 18th (good news for me) or the very start of the 19th (not likely to be me)...

Of course, its Copper's stats that let us know such things, so thanks again!

Thanks Cu. I must say I do wonder about the 29 unknown gender members amongst us. We'll call them all Pat.

I always wondered about that. Maybe I'm one of them. Does the recital questionnaire ask about gender?

Anyway, thanks very much Copper, for providing these. Fascinating as always.

No, as far as I know gender is not recorded anywhere.

I forget if there was some reason for keep that statistic.

I think I originally got the data from of the "Class Picture" project that I did a while ago. It's been a few years now, wow.

http://www.pianoworld.com/forum/ubbthreads.php/topics/1078518/2006%20Class%20Photo.html#Post1078518

In these pictures it was obvious who the pretty women (all of them) were and for he-men like S-H it was obvious. Now I just guess based on the name, but I don't want to offend anyone so there a bunch of unknowns.

Thanks Copper; again, very interesting stats. Did we have a budget cut ? The map seems smaller than usual. Oh well ...

Cheers thumb

The map does seem to be smaller.

What I see on the web page is about 1/3 smaller than what was uploaded to photobucket.

I think the forum page protects itself against giant pictures by shrinking things down.

I think it's interesting that California (where I live) seems underrepresented. Not having submitted I guess I'm contributing to this trend!

California comes and goes.

See here: http://www.pianoworld.com/forum/ubbthreads.php/topics/1101161

In some of the early recitals there were no Californians at all, then there were a bunch later on.
