Hello,
I am interested in getting a digital piano and have been considering the Kawai CA51 ebony polish.
Does anyone know or can estimate the current price for a new one? I check piano buyer but that is a year old and also the previous posts on this forum for this instrument are years old, I would like some up to date info.
Also, I would like to search around to get the best price but every time I try to google the piano I get a bunch of UK websites and no USA sites selling it. I live in Cape Canaveral, FL and have been to a couple stores here and in Orlando but if I can find it cheaper to buy and ship from across the USA then I would do that but I can't find a way to look up piano stores across the USA.
Thank you for the advise and help!

The Kawai CA- (Concert Artist) models, like the Clavinova CLP- and CVP- and Roland HP- models, are for showroom sales only in the US, and US Kawai dealers can't post prices online or even give them out over the phone.
The CA-51 Ebony apparently sells for around $3100 in some areas, which is probably about the best showroom price you could get in the US.
This question has come up before here, and the best prices in the US are apparently in New Hampshire. New Hampshire Kawai dealers apparently do a brisk business selling to out-of-state customers who are willing to make the trip. However, you can apparently order over the phone and have it shipped to you in Florida. But it's awkward, because they can't give out prices over the phone. It might be something like: "What's the best price you can get in Florida? Oh, we can do better than that, shipped to you. Etc."
Try, for example, Londonderry Pianos in Salem, NH: 1 800 820 8845.

Thank you for the information Gyro.
Has anyone here bought this piano recently in the USA and could let me know what they paid for it?

Hi Trumpets,
I just went through the DP buying process myself and had a CA51 ebony delivered Thursday. I haggled with the mgmt and in the end paid $3000 even, incl. taxes and delivery. I'm in Houston, Tx. It's a beautiful piece, I'm really glad I paid a bit extra for the ebony finish. And I'm quite happy with the sound/feel of the Kawai.

I paid like $2827 including tax/delivery here in Pittsburgh. I think I saw others on this site pay a little less. Mine was the polished ebony also. Great looking, great sound, and the piano feel.
Not too many features or song list though....
I bought it from a company in Ohio that had big sale at the Pittsburgh Opera House. It has a 5 year on-site warranty.

After going to several piano stores I bought one at a good price. I paid $2190 plus tax and I picked it up myself so I didn't have to pay shipping.
I had a range of prices given to me up to $3,400. That price was given to me by someone who said they had the lowest prices around because they have the largest inventory.... saying that and giving me that price made me feel like he just cared about making some money.

Trumpets where do you live? $2190 for a CA51 Ebony polished is unbelievable. Where did you buy it from?
