Here's mine:
http://www.youtube.com/user/Ode2Joy1

While I like my FlipHD video camera, I would prefer to add audio from my Zoom H4. I've found some advice on these forums for how this is done, but I still need to I figure out how to add the audio track in sync with the video. Please stay tuned. This is a great incentive get pieces nicely polished, just like the ecitals :-)

I'm still thinking about the whole audio and video syncing instructional thing.

I can do instructions on how to do things in a Linux OS environment but I've yet to work out how to use the same tools while in windows or even on a Mac (Which I lack access to.)

I was going to record the steps I use to align the audio in Audacity but that still leaves getting the audio out of the original video and putting the new audio back in. I use the same command line tool for both of those operations on my end. That program does have a few windows based front ends available but there are some that don't have the features needed to replace audio in a video easily. I'll certainly need to do some work to figure all that out.

Ode2Joy, the thing that helped the most for me when I was doing exactly what you're trying to do was to magnify the audio tracks in MovieMaker. You can click on a little magnifying glass icon, I think it is, so that the waveform gets stretched out (in other words, the screen display only shows, say, 5 seconds rather than 60 seconds.) This makes it a lot easier to align the peaks of the Flip audio and the Zoom audio to match up better.

It's only got 1 piano recording on it (audio only), and a few golf videos from various work colleagues.. In the future I will get more piano on it!

I set this one up essentially so I could watch my son grow up and so that he could get some requested feedback, often from people here. Little did I know at the time how much .... ah .... other feedback of a less useful variety one would receive at a place like YouTube. grin

My YouTube page

I do have one piece of my own linked here on a playlist. Something recorded at a piano party. But that was never the purpose of creating the page.

Marc,
What a simply beautiful piano and playing!

Thank you so much for the kind comments on "Glasgow Love Theme" It's great to know that I am somehow able to replay the emotions of the music that is "speaking to me" thumb

Thanks for reviving the thread, Another Schmoe.

Maybe it would be a good idea, to create a new Directory, though, as my original idea was to have a simple list of users, with their YouTube links and short description, only, so that members could easily access the links without having to scroll through a lot of comments.

Unfortunately, that request fell on deaf ears f

One whole piano song and the rest are a variety of creations that my daughter and I made. I'm in my 6th month of piano lessons so am working on the basics before I build up to posting more.

He's changed it since this post, but I *think* it was Katsaris and his incredible hair back in December, though I may be mistaken.

Link to my competition videos in my sig

From Chopin to Rachmaninoff. Shame I do not have my earlier pieces, they are much more difficult.
