Anyone know where I can get a replacement music rest cheaply? One from Yamaha is pretty pricey.

Thanks!

Make it out of plywood.

P-85 cheap plastic imitation; not because of sound, but weight.

Or you can put a heavy piece of poster board in the slot.

I bought one for my P-90 and recall it being very reasonable, something like $20. I think I got it off ebay but it's an official Yamaha rest. To be honest, it's not large enough for my taste, so I cut a piece of thin plywood that's quite a bit bigger and leaned it against the plastic rest. I guess if I had it to do over I'd just use the piece of plywood. I painted it the same color as the wall, when there isn't music on it you don't even notice it.
