What is important to you? Having weighted keys, good sound, a sequencer, etc.? Knowing more details will help direct which keyboard best suits your needs.

thanks for the reply.:D

well... what i'm really after is the sound quality of the keyboard. weighted keys would be a bonus but not necessary so that i can practice some classicals during my spare time laugh

The "630" is the best piano of the bunch. But I think you'l like the sounds in the Roland the best in your band. Also the Roland has that pitch bend/modulation lever that only Roland has. I think the Roland has the best build quality, accompaniments and the best user controls. But the 630 has weighted keys and Yamaha has put a good grand piano sample on it. I think the E09 s the only one of the bunch that might be mistaken for a professional keyboard. The e09 has eight times the sample memory of the Korg. This translates to sound quality

I have an old Roland E series synth I like it and it's well built. It's good except the sounds are from the 1980's. Only the drums and piano sounds are usable in 2009. I'm a Roland fan. That said I just bought a Yamaha digital piano.
