I would sure be interested in your thoughts about good chord changes to "One for My Baby (and one more for the road)"

Thanks so much!

One for the Rd is a Steve Allen and Johnny Mercer classic. In Eb, 4/4, sample beats | 1 2 3 4 |. What a great study in the II-V-I chord progression.

|| Eb6 *Ebmaj7 | Eb6 Fm7 Bb7 | Eb6 Bbm7 | Eb9 Bb7#5 |
| Eb6 Ebmaj7 | Eb6 Fm7 Bb7 | Eb6 Bbm7 | Eb9 |
| Ab6 Abmaj | Ab6 Fm7 Bb7 | Eb6 Ebmaj7 | Eb6 |
| G7#5 Cm7b5 | Fm7 Gm7 b5 Ab7 Bb7sus | Eb6 | Am7 D7 ||

*Alt. Db chord voiced with LH root (Db) and RH 4th (G) 7th (C) 3d (F), as a 4-stack (intervals of 4ths)

Before I write out the chorus, would someone proof the tune?

Thanks in advance for your time.

Hope this helps!

Have an arrangement of this for piano - not terribly adventurous, but if anybody is interested e-mail me at jazza942-michaelmusic@yahoo.co.uk and I'll send it along.

I have an nice arrangement for piano and singer which I got from musicnotes.com. They often have several versions of a song so you can pick and choose. I think that this song was Scorch tho' which means you don't get an audio file.
