I am leaning towards the Yamaha YDP 140 or the Yamaha YDP160. I really like the console pianos that have a sliding dust cover for the keys. I think if I had one that had just a dust cover I could see it never being used. I wish there was some stores that I could go check some digital pianos out, the ones within 25 miles of my house I go to the store and they have only 1 DP. Does anyone know of some stores in the St. Louis, Kansas City, or Springfield area? I live approx 100-150 miles away from those 3 towns but would like to see something before I pull the trigger.

The ydp160 has better key action. But the controls are hard to use. The YDP223 has better sound system and controls.

So different here in So. California. I have a choice of at least five large retailers all within about 7 or 8 miles from the house.

many online stores are fine for buying DPs. i had done it before (and had no complaint) and will probably do it soon again for a P155.

I live 10 minutes away from Kraft Music and have been buying digital pianos from them since before they became an online retailer. The people there are great and I think they offer some of the best deals on the Internet. I am biased but I need everyone to keep buying pianos from them so I have a place to go and try out the latest gear.

I bought my YDP160 from Music123 and didn't have any issues. Some of the online retailers are related.
