It's replacement, the GW-8, is around $1000 USD. MSRP: $1,149.00
The GW-7 must have been close to that when new.

You could try checking out the reviews on Harmony Central I use arranger keyboards, but only by Yamaha and Korg. You can find both the E-09 and GW-7 reviewed here: http://reviews.harmony-central.com/reviews/Keyboard+And+MIDI/brand/Roland Snazzy

thanks snazzyplayer.
Yamaha and Korg? what models do you usually use?
what i'm really after are the sax, pianos, e-pianos sounds. but i would also like to have good synth voices.
