Yamaha Clavinova 330 vs Kawai

Hi all...
Am looking at purchasing a digital piano. I've looked at several and have it narrowed down to a Kawai and a Clavinova 330. I can't remember the exect number of the Kawai but they seem to have similar features. The Kawai I am able to get for $1800 which includes tax or the Clavinova for around $2300 plus tax. Does anyone have any suggestions on what way to go? I'm torn. I'd basically use it for personal playing, practicing for musicals I'm in, etc.
Thanks

Yamaha samples the sound of a Yamaha. Kawai does the Kawai. Pick the one that you like the sound of best. The quality and repair record is good on both. Little different in the touch, but both are good.

At $1,800 could you be thinking about the CE200? But those normally sell for about $1700, so maybe not.
If you like the CLP330 why not also look at a Yamaha YDP223? The specs are very close and I think you can get a 223 for about $1,300 (with the current 20% off deal) BTW the same 20% deal gets you a CE200 for about $1,350
That said. I think the better Yamahas have key action comparable to Kawai. I think the Kawai has a nice pleasant sound but the Yamaha a more real sound. (But my experience is only with Kawai CH21, CE200 and Yamaha P155)
But if you are willing to spend mid $2K yu should try out a high end Roland stage piano. I thing the RD700GX beats both the Kawai and Yamaha in both touch and sound. But you have to try all your self. People find things they like and don't like in all of them.
