I'm here too! The Organ Forum has a bit more going on, but only slightly. Organists are either too busy to post, or they are becoming extinct.

Maybe this winter I might have more great things to say...still busy in my seasonal work...

I saw the most gorgeous Rodgers for sale at an estate sale.. my friend bought it for 1700. it had 3 ranks.. it was gorgeous.

I'd be glad to talk/type to any of you real organists here.

As you may know from the Adult Piano Beginner section, I'm very far from either an 'organist' or 'pianist' (about Level 2-3 piano now, and a non-committed work non-ethic) but a true wannabe/dilettante/fan of the technical side of organs.

Also, here in Romania pipe organs are quite rare. The mainstream Orthodox Church doesn't use any (but has an interesting ancient vocal polyphony). I'm going to start soon an "Organ-Spotting in Romania" thread if anyone is interested...

I still have my ancient little Conn organ, and everything works, pedals, rhythm unit, etc. I really should start playing it again. It looks so forelorn sitting off in a corner while I'm playing the piano.
