I am getting close to making a purchase for a digital piano from an internet site called CHERUBINI. My question is, what happens if you purchase from a place like that (Italy) and something goes wrong with the instrument. How do they stand behind their products ? And what about getting it to me in one piece ? Any experience with something like that, anyone ?

OK I'll bite, what do they have on that site that you can't buy here in the US. Other than the prices being in Euro, it looks like all the same DPs you'd buy here in the US.

Are you also factoring in the cost of shipping such a large item from Europe to the US?

Also, do you know if the instrument will function correctly when connected to an American power source?

Kind regards,
James

Please read my post on the other thread about the Roland KR-107.

There are other reasons why the price is so low.

Glenn

Thanks to all for the comments. I think I have been turned from a moment of impulsive buying. I will consider things a bit more.

I have direct experience of Cherubini. With cross-border sales within the EU they honour their warranty when things go wrong. If you want to know how they handle problems in the USA, ask them. EU electrical supply is 230V/50Hz. Perhaps the KR107 has multiple voltage compatability : ask.
