I just looked it up for ya and it's in Alfred's basic duet book number 3! Most of our duets have come from aflred's duet books. They are pretty fun

JF - many, if not most, of Peggy Sue's postings have been in threads you've started, or quoting you and agreeing, and she's only posted 24 times. How far is Harrisburg from Hershey? - just askin' - Cathy Harrisburg is about 12 miles from Hershey (as the proverbial crow flies). PeggySue is my daughter. What can I say - she supports her father, like a loyal and loving daughter should! She tells me that she finds my posts very often insightful and amusing, if sometimes a tad "edgy" (thus, displaying her exceptional good taste ) And I've had the same complimentary reaction from some other posters here in PMs over the last couple of years - although I strangely suspect that this sentiment is not universally shared here Thanks for asking - you'd make a good Hercule Poirot! tlt - nice job on BB - you captured the feel (and old-timey sound) of the Blues very well But rescue? From what? Or whom? I don't see any of your pieces there that you would want to improve on, or "rescue". And second page or second page back? JF Edit for spelling.

JF and Cathy - this is such a sweet story. The idea that offspring may eventually come to agree about something - music to my ears! If you knew Peggy Sue, then you'd know why I feel blue... b... - yes, I did enjoy playing that one! I've decided I need a 'repertoire' - numbers I know by heart and will please anyone, and I can just play easily anytime. This is now my repertoire!

Thanks folk! I'm partial to Blues for some reason. Yes, Rickster, I noticed! JF - when I go into the ABF, the threads are arranged according to when they were last added to. New threads push inactive ones into pages 2, 3, etc. I noticed this thread had got quiet and been pushed to page 2.

Oh - that page 2 - I thought you meant page 2 of this thread - ha! I'm glad we're finally "on the same page" (as the over-used current trite expression has it). JF

sean - what a pretty waltz!
Hm. I speak as a dancer, so altho I understand that sometimes "dance" or "waltz" as a piece of classical music isn't actually meant to be danced to, if I wanted to dance to this, there were some places when the 3rd beat was "short" or the rhythm was "rubato" - either speeded up some, or otherwise changed, and it would be hard to waltz to. On the other hand, as a "listening" piece it was very charming, and I admire anyone who can do ornaments, because they are mostly beyond my abilities.
Nice addition to the piano bar.
Cathy

if I wanted to dance to this, there were some places when the 3rd beat was "short" or the rhythm was "rubato" Thanks for the feedback! I think lots of Chopin's waltzes definitely aren't for dancing... but on the other hand I've noticed that in that recording my time-keeping can definitely use some work, dancing or not.
